The immediacy of working with the material and the concrete nature of the resulting work were what initially drew John Pirker to glassblowing. As a medium for expression, glass has allowed him to continuously explore the diversity of colour, form and technique. Each piece is a fresh and fascinating exploration of his natural creativity.
